🏄‍♀️ BEGINNERS TO EARLY INTERMEDIATE COMPETITIVE SURF COACHING CLINIC 🏄‍♀️ Have you been thinking about entering your first surf contest but aren't sure where to start? Maybe you've competed a few times and want to feel more confident, or you're ready to improve your competitive strategy and take the next step? This clinic is designed for you! Whether you're brand new to surf competitions or have a few contests under your belt, we'll help you understand the competitive side of surfing, build confidence, and develop strategies you can take into your next heat. With NKF Surf Fest happening just one week later, this is the perfect opportunity to learn, practice, and prepare! 📅 Saturday, October 3rd ⏰ 9:30–11:30 AM 📍 Cape Canaveral Area 👩 Women Only 💲 $50 🏖️ WHAT WE'LL DO We'll start with a 15–30 minute beach session covering contest basics and beginning to develop your personal competition strategy, including: • How contests work & what to expect • Heat structure and timing • Judging & scoring basics • Wave selection & positioning • Contest etiquette • Developing a heat strategy 🌊 PRACTICE HEAT We'll run a 20-minute mock contest heat while your coach watches, takes notes, and scores your waves—giving you a chance to experience a contest heat without the pressure of competition. Afterward, we'll review your waves, scores, and coaching notes as a group and discuss what worked and what you can improve. 📸 SURF PHOTOS INCLUDED! We'll finish with a fun surf session while we take photos of everyone surfing. Surfing photos are included with registration! ➕ OPTIONAL ADD-ONS 📖 Surf Contest Basics Presentation — $5 If you're a beginner surfer or have never entered a surf contest, we strongly recommend this add-on! This downloadable guide covers contest fundamentals and everything we'll discuss during the clinic. Emailed within 2–3 days after registration. 🎥 Group Analysis Video — $25 Take your coaching home with you!
