Turning Clinic 🌊🏄‍♀️ Ready to make your turns stronger, smoother, and more intentional? Join us Sunday, November 29th from 8:30–10:00 AM for a fun, hands-on Turning Clinic! This clinic is open to all skill levels. We recommend that you’re at least comfortable catching whitewater waves on your own so you can get the most out of the in-water portion of the clinic. We’ll start on the beach and work our way through turning skills step-by-step, progressing from the basics to more advanced maneuvers. We’ll cover: 🌊 The Basics: Starting to turn, changing directions, and frontside vs. backside 🏄‍♀️ Intermediate Skills: Taking your turns to an open-faced wave, takeoff/attack, bottom turns, and generating speed 🔥 Advanced Techniques: Top-to-bottom turns, off-the-top, floaters, and linking maneuvers together We’ll break down each skill so you can understand what to do, when to do it, and how to put it all together in the water. Feel free to bring a notebook and pen if you’d like to take notes! Once we finish our beach instruction, everyone will head into the water for a surf session while we capture photos of everyone surfing. 📸 Photos are included! You’ll receive a Dropbox link within 3–5 days to view and download all of your photos from the event. Want More Personalized Feedback? Add a Coaching Analysis for just $25! Ami will review your surfing photos and create a recorded coaching video with personalized feedback, tips, and things to work on during your next sessions. Your analysis will be delivered through Dropbox. Board Rentals Limited rental boards are available and must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.
